About This Accommodation
Wildflower Hall is perfect for clients looking for a taste of the Himalayas or for a remote, relaxing experience to top off their exploration of India.
The former residence of Lord Kitchener, Wildflower Hall recreates the grand style of the colonial era. The wood paneling and original artwork add the aura of old world charm.
The emphasis at Wildflower Hall is on relaxation, exploration of nature and wellness. Wildflower Hall is set among 22 acres of forest and guests can enjoy beautiful views of mountains and valleys or take leisurely walks through the fragrant pine forests along. Other activities include nature walks, rafting cycling and yoga. You can also spending time exploring the landscape, the history and culture of the lush and peaceful city of Shimla on a variety of excursions. The Shimla region is famous for apple orchards. From March to April, local villages are awash in blossoming trees and at harvest time, delicious fruit, juice and cake abound.
The spa offers a huge range of massage, yoga and Ayurvedic treatments at bespoke locations around the hotel and grounds. One of the highlights is the open-air whirlpool affords magnificent views across the Greater Himalayas.
Everything from the décor to the service have an old-world, colonial feel. While that might not appeal to every traveler, the stunning and peaceful setting makes Wildflower Hall truly special.
