About This Accommodation
Pashan Garh Wilderness Lodge is an exclusive lodge set within 190 acres of private jungle. Constructed mainly of stone and boasting a fort-like lookout tower, there is a very cool and age-old feel to the lodge. With only 12 air-conditioned suites, the lodge is intimate and we find it to be very comfortable and cozy. The lodge pool and in-suite massages are perfect for relaxing in the middle of the day, or get comfortable in front of the watering hole to observe resident wildlife. You can also go for a guided nature walk to spot birdlife near the lodge or have a traditional Indian cooking lesson.
Pashan Garh is located just outside Panna National Park, a great safari destination and abundant with sloth bear, leopard, wolf, hyena, and more. Although Panna isn't the best park for guaranteed tiger sightings, Pashan Garh can easily be combined with Samode Safari Lodge or Mahua Kothi Jungle Lodge in Bandhavgarh National Park if seeing tigers is your priority. The lodge is also an easy day trip to see the ancient Indian temples and World Heritage Site of Khajuraho.
Panna National Park is a year-round destination. Their summer season (April - June) can reach temperatures over 100˚F, but the rest of the year can get quite cold.
