Like its sister property in the Atacama Desert, Tierra Patagonia offers polished luxury, is visually stunning, and is one of our favorites in this area. Considered a “design hotel,” it is sleek yet earthy and constructed of local wood and materials.

Tierra’s 40 rooms have lake-facing views and, are decorated with hand-crafted furniture, locally sourced textiles, and are full of uniquely Patagonian details. Tierra Patagonia is not inside Torres del Paine National Park but instead sits on a lake directly across from the park and has fabulous views. 

While Tierra Patagonia’s excursions are shared, they allow a maximum of eight people and are led by qualified and experienced guides. Activities include hikes, horse rides, scenic drives, or bicycle rides inside Torres del Paine, as well as other less explored areas outside the borders of the park. Activities are half-day or full-day and are offered at three levels of difficulty to make them accessible to everyone. Private excursions are available at an additional cost.
