Wildlife Interactions

in Southern Africa

This 8-night program whisks you away to stunning Botswana and Victoria Falls with abundant wildlife interactions…and plenty of emphasis on elephants!

Begin with four nights at Stanley’s Camp, located in a private concession within the Okavango Delta. The highlight here is the resident elephant herd of orphans brought up in the area by local staff. Guests have the opportunity to join these semi-habituated elephants on a morning walk through the bush. This is a genuinely uplifting and educational opportunity that few get to experience. While game drives are available, water-based activities will be the heart of your time here, including motorized boating and mokoro excursions. Explore the waterways, sit eye-to-eye with buffalo drinking from the river, cruise past hippos, or spot crocodiles sunbathing.

Your next two nights will be spent at Chobe Game Lodge, set riverside within Chobe National Park. Chobe is known for housing the largest concentration of elephants in the world, and the all-female guide team offers expert insight. Head out on game drives through the park to in search of enormous herds elephants wading into the river to drink and play.

Spend your last two nights in Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls. Explore the Falls on a guided tour or opt to sample some of the area’s heart-pounding adrenaline activities. You’ll be based at The Elephant Camp, nestled on a ridge between the Masuwe River and the Zambezi gorges. Dedicated to conservation and education, the camp offers elephant interactions and the chance to walk with Sylvester, the camp’s “Ambassador Cheetah.”
