About This Accommodation

Singita Pamushana is hands down the most luxurious safari lodge in all of Zimbabwe. It is located within the virtually untouched Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve bordering Gonarezhou National Park. The reserve is home to one of the highest concentrations of black rhino along with the Big 5. Game-viewing in the acacia and baobob woodlands is excellent and the experienced guides are sure to bring you close to the action. Activities at Singita Pamushana include open-vehicle game drives (which can be booked exclusively for your party), night drives, bush walks, community visits, mountain biking, and rock art site visits. The lodge is situated atop a kopje with incredible views over a gorgeous dam below where guests can go fishing and enjoy sundowner cruises.

True to Singita’s name, Singita Pamushana is a stunning and luxurious property. Accommodation includes 4 standard suites, 3 family suites (two 2-bedroom, one 3-bedroom), and a 5-bedroom villa. Each suite includes a private infinity pool in addition to two swimming pools and jacuzzi in the main lodge. The rough-hewn architecture and bold and vibrant décor is inspired by the local Shangaan people who have inhabited the region for thousands of years. The food and service here are excellent and guests can utilize the gym and spa facilities as well.

Singita properties provide elite accommodation and safari experiences, and Pamushana is no exception. We can’t say enough about this property. It’s remote, it’s beyond luxurious, the game viewing (even in the green season) is phenomenal, and the food, service, and guiding are all excellent. We would highly recommend it for at least a few nights and guests could easily spend a week with all the activities available.

  • A spectacular African safari is only the beginning of the adventure at Singita Pamushana Lodge; the abundance of wildlife, the pristine landscape and the cultural heritage of the local people gives guests much to explore. The conservation work of the Malilangwe Trust forms a significant part of the experience, giving guests a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving this extraordinary reserve. Whether exploring the bush on a game drive, observing 2,000-year-old rock art or learning about Shangaan culture at the Kambako Living History Museum, there are daily opportunities to find connection with this special place.
  • Set high in the hills amongst dramatic boulders, the organic-shaped buildings of Singita Pamushana Lodge are reminiscent of the ruins of Great Zimbabwe. The thick walls, meticulous thatching and detailed stonework lay the foundation for bold interiors, inspired by local Shangaan culture. There are six palatial suites and a five-bedroom villa, all with private plunge pools and views across Malilangwe Lake.
