Chindeni Bushcamp

Chindeni Bushcamp is one of the more luxurious properties in Luangwa. It is a charming property set amongst tamarind and ebony trees, overlooking a dam. The camp is open May to early November and runs on solar power.

The camp’s main areas include a breakfast spot on the shores of the dam and a decked lounge and covered dining area with extensive views over the water. You can sip sundowners while viewing the water birds, elephant and hippos. The four spacious chalets are canvas with earthy and tasteful décor, each containing private decks with stunning vistas. We love Chindeni, particularly the aesthetics of the camp.

If you are arriving on a late flight into the park, we recommend you overnight at Mfuwe before traveling to remote Chindeni. Chindeni is usually combined with another one of the Bushcamp Company camps (Bilimungwe, Chamilandu, Kuyenda, Kapamba, Zungulila) to ensure a well-rounded safari itinerary that also tends to focus on walking.
