Potato Bush Camp

One of the new and exclusive properties in the Lower Zambezi National Park, Potato Bush Camp is an intimate tented camp with stylish décor, located adjacent to its sister camp, Sausage Tree.

This camp is excellent value for money. It is priced as a 4-star property and offers a 5-star experience while being inside the park. We love the spacious cream canvas and rosewood rooms. Each has their own plunge pool and verandah sporting hammocks for an afternoon siesta – essential after a dip in the pool. The central areas are accessed via wooden walkways. And as the camp is open until January, this is an essential feature for avoiding the mud during the wet season.

Game viewing and tiger fishing are popular activities in the Lower Zambezi and you will see a host of predators and prey as well as superb bird species. Leopard, lion, hyena, wild dog, elephant, hippo, buffalo, and giraffe are some of the creatures which inhabit this national park.
