About This Accommodation

Serian's Serengeti Mobile Camp is a seasonal camp which follows the Great Migration. From June to October it is situated in Kogatende (where the camp is called Serian Serengeti North) and from December to March it’s in the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area (where the camp is called Serian Serengeti South). Game drives with Serian are amazing as you have exclusive use of your vehicle and a private guide, perfect for photographers.

Six canvas tents are positioned along the migration route, providing top-notch game-viewing at your doorstep. The tents are comfortable and tastefully decorated en-suites with inviting day beds for sheer relaxation and peace. Taking a bush bath while watching the sunset is a true highlight at Serian Mobile. This is one of our favorite camps in Tanzania. It's the perfect mix of luxury and adventure and offers a really intimate and well-guided safari. The service at the camp is great, as is their food. We especially love the unique furnishings, photographs taken by camp staff, guests, and vintage photos all interspersed in black and white throughout the common area. A shabby-chic mixture of furniture, colors, and textures gives an old authentic safari feel.

Serian Serengeti North and South provide similar experiences to that of Serian’s Nkorombo Camp in the Maasai Mara.

  • We’re proud to present a quirky, invigorating short film by the expressive talent Rufus Blackwell, focusing on the southern Serengeti during the wildebeest birthing season: a time of vitality when everything is fresh, new and bursting with life.

What Our Clients Think

Best camp, Robyn was outstanding and enjoyed meeting Alex Walker. Vehicle had cushion on roof, lots of extra things. Juma was our guide... energetic, articulate, knowledgeable, and humorous."

For a tent, quite luxurious. For the remoteness of it, food was well above expectations. Guides Eric and Jeremiah were outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly. Best of the trip."

Very relaxing. One afternoon we got home early and played Scrabble by the fire. Very impressive all the things they grow and make on site. Staff felt like family! Loved the driver and spotter combo for game viewing."

It was very fun to be right in the wilderness! And Baraka and Mike were great!!"
