About This Accommodation

Nomad's Serengeti Safari Camp is an intimate mobile camp which moves 4-5 times a year throughout the Serengeti following the Great Migration, ensuring you are always within reach of this incredible wildlife spectacle. We find this camp to be quite basic, offering an authentic safari experience but with few luxuries. Six comfortable canvas tents each have a bed, a verandah, and an en-suite bathroom. The two main tents comprise the rest of the camp, including lounge and dining areas.

As part of their drive to minimize their environmental impact, Nomad's Serengeti Safari Camp has bucket showers and eco-flush toilets, with cold running water, and hot water delivered as and when you'd like it. This is the place for those looking for a real connection with nature, expert guiding, and little else to detract from being in the bush. Guiding is exceptional and the flexible nature of your safari contributes greatly to your experience. Your guide and the staff are there to make sure you get exactly what you want out of your stay.

  • Each year the Serengeti plays host to one of the greatest wildlife phenomena in the world. 1.5 million wildebeest travel hundreds of kilometers in an endless cycle of life. From the rich grazing where they drop their young in the southern plains to the drama of the Mara River, the migration is a year round spectacle.

What Our Clients Think

"Loved the tent and the bucket showers were fine. Meals were great and we enjoyed the picnic breakfasts a lot. Very friendly guides, we loved having dinner at night with Testo and Esa. Testo was loved by all of us, very knowledgeable and willing to share stories."

"Wow! It was every bit as wonderful as we had hoped. The food was amazingly good. I can't say enough about the staff; they were great. Our guide Ian was knowledgable, personable, and we very much enjoyed spending three days with him. And we saw an astounding variety of animals."

Our guide, Ali, was the best of the best. I can't believe how much we saw--virtually effortlessly--in our short time here, including the Big 5 and six Mara River crossings!"
