The Four Seasons Safari Lodge is located in the Central Serengeti where you can get up close and intimate with lions, leopards and elephants – yet always feel safe and pampered.

Secluded and spacious, the lodge comprises 77 guest rooms, suites and villas all outfitted with contemporary African décor, four-poster beds with mosquito netting, and local textiles and artwork – all enhanced by modern comforts such as air conditioning and high-speed Internet access. Each room has an elevated, open-air sundeck with a direct view of the plains and any wildlife that might be passing by. The elegant spa and infinity pool promise a luxurious respite during your African adventures.

The large size and style of the Four Seasons is not our personal travel style – we prefer the more intimate tented camps, but the Four Seasons Safari Lodge lives up to its reputation in terms of luxury and service. Be wary, however, that many activities are at an additional cost.

Contemporary African-design elements and a shaded private terrace capture the essence of the untamed plains outside, while a deep soaking tub, a refrigerated bar and a flat-screen TV provide all the comforts of home.
Our unique Discovery Centre is part museum and part lecture theatre, offering an interactive experience where you can learn about the wildlife, history and people of the Serengeti. Situated in the Lodge’s main building, the Centre’s focal point is an interactive map of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, which highlights the movements of the Great Migration. You’re welcome to explore on your own time or with the assistance of one of our local guides, who will happily lead you through the exhibits.
Join us deep in the heart of the world’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, where the Big Five – the lion, the leopard, the buffalo, the elephant and the rhinoceros – run free on the endless, untamed landscape. Perched on a series of elevated platforms and walkways, our Lodge sits next to an animal watering hole, where you can watch a family of elephants stop for their morning drink as you sip your own out on your room’s private balcony.
