Plantation Lodge is located in the Ngorongoro Highlands, just 30 minutes from the Manyara Airstrip. From the lodge, guests can access the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park, so guests have some excellent options for game-viewing. Unfortunately, there aren’t great on-site activities, so you will have to drive at least half an hour before your game-viewing can really commence.

This property has spacious, well-decorated rooms which have more of a bed and breakfast feel rather than that of a hotel. Each room is slightly different in configuration and has either a shower or bath tub. Unfortunately, the rooms all face the central garden which means they lack privacy. We like the family room, but we wouldn’t recommend their honeymoon suite. This property is best sold as being great value for money.
