One of the biggest Phinda properties, Mountain Lodge, has lovely vistas over the bush from its elevated position. The welcoming common areas and viewing decks are ideal for relaxing and socializing or simply soaking up the sun and peaceful scenery.
Mountain Lodge’s rooms are well-appointed, spacious, and comfortable, with their own private pools and decks for continuous game-spotting opportunities. Children are accommodated here.
Despite lacking a bit of intimacy, we really like Mountain Lodge. It has it all: good service, luxurious accommodation, exciting game viewing, excellent guides, and quality meals. Additionally, it has the little extra touches that make a safari special: boma meals, bush breakfasts, drinks around a campfire and so much more.
