About This Accommodation

The Vineyard Hotel is located in Constantia, about 6 miles from the Cape Town city center. It's situated on 7 acres of green estate and on the banks of a river. It's a nice and spacious option for those who are content being away from downtown. (There are shuttles that run hourly from the hotel to the waterfront at cost.) There are 207 rooms in total, and for those traveling a long way, you must stay in a Table Mountain-facing room. The facilities here are excellent. There is a gym with trainers, a spa, and two pools - one indoor and one outdoor. There are two restaurants, our favorite being the popular Myoga Restaurant for it's excellent fusion cuisine. The hotel has partnerships with local wineries and can coordinate a "wine experience" where reps from the vineyards come to the hotel for a tasting.

The Vineyard Hotel is excellent value for money. Our only qualm is how big it's grown is recent years. It has adopted a corporate element and we tend to prefer something a bit more quaint.
