About This Accommodation

The Silo Hotel is the sophisticated art-lover's dream. This ultra-luxurious property, with its sweeping views of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, joins its industrial-chic design with the surrounding natural wonders of South Africa’s Mother City. Built in the grain elevator portion of the early 1900's silo, the hotel occupies six floors of the old structure. Newly added pillowed bay windows and spacious ceilings merge local history with contemporary luxury.

Guests wanting to take advantage of the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA), one of the most influential art institutions in the world housed within the silo complex, will not be disappointed. Guests enjoy unparalleled afterhours access as well as special guided tours of the museum. Not to mention, the hotel's rooftop swimming pool, gym, spa services and drinking and dining options at The Granary Cafe, The Willaston Bar and Sky Terrace. If you're looking for luxury with a little pizazz and plenty of local ties, The Silo is the place for you.

What Our Clients Think

The Silo was fabulous - one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. We visited the Cape Grace when we were there to compare since we had friends who had stayed there and the Silo is really just at a different caliber. Amazing rooms, awesome bars, fabulous breakfast, just a great scene. Test Kitchen was delicious and we loved our meal there. Our tour guide was good and flexible to what we wanted to do which I appreciated."
