About This Accommodation

The Cape Grace, one of the top Cape Town hotels, offers superb service, a waterfront location, and a quality five-star experience.

Luxurious and refined, Cape Grace is warmly welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the service is truly outstanding. The tastefully decorated rooms overlook the yacht marina, working harbor, or Table Mountain, providing some of the most scenic views in South Africa.

This is a good property for families as kids are welcomed and entertained, and being on the waterfront there is a lot for energetic little people to see and do. On its own quay at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the hotel is in the center of a hub of activity – a working harbor, restaurants, entertainment and shops. It maintains its independence from the general busyness, an air of quiet sophistication juxtaposed against the waterfront vibrancy.

The Cape Grace’s restaurants serve a wide variety of gourmet meals, and you can relax in the lounge overlooking the waterfront or enjoy afternoon tea in the library. For any whiskey drinker, the Bascule Whiskey & Wine Bar is a real highlight. The spa and gym keep guests invigorated, and when you are ready for some shopping, the jewelry boutique offers a range of fine items.

The Cape Grace is a Cape Town stalwart, and a firm favorite of ours.

What Our Clients Think

Wow! Been to hotels all over the world, but none better and most not even close. An experience of a lifetime!"

What more is there to say, this hotel is BEYOND fabulous. The bathroom was immense and just lovely. The amenities are fantastic and they leave you wanting NOTHING. There was a small gift in our room with a hand-written note EVERY day. Linens, amenities, furniture, etc, it was all gorgeous. And this was a STANDARD room! We can’t imagine what the other rooms must have been like! They are a large hotel that makes you feel like you are staying in a B&B or a boutique property. There’s NOT ONE person we interacted with that didn’t go the extra step. Just fantastic. They know what you need before you even knew you needed it!"

Nicest hotel I have ever stayed in."

Great location for shopping and many restaurant choices!"

The Cape Grace was a very nice hotel. Perfectly located for our first three days in Cape Town. The staff was excellent. The restaurant - Signal - very good."

Fabulous hotel with extremely courteous, helpful personnel. Probably my favorite hotel in all my travels. Loved it!"
