Milles Collines

The Milles Collines Hotel is a luxury hotel in the heart of Kigali. The hotel was a refuge for people during the Rwandan genocide and the subject of the film Hotel Rwanda.

With a pool and bar area set in a large, lush garden, it is certainly stylish, but is not quite at the level of the Serena. We love the restaurant and all rooms have a balcony, direct telephone, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and mini bar.

With good roads and plenty of tourist sites nearby, such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center and the original Bourbon Coffee shop, this hotel is a great hub for exploring the rest of the country.
