Pemba Beach Hotel
Pemba Beach Hotel and Spa, is a comfortable, practical hotel in the town of Pemba on mainland Mozambique, the gateway to the Quirimbas Archipelago and the Niassa Reserve. Because it is only 10 minutes from the Pemba Airport, we use Pemba Beach Hotel when travelers have to spend a night in Pemba because of their flight schedule, not as a destination in and of itself. That said, the rooms are comfortable, some with balconies and views right onto the ocean and some onto a courtyard facing other rooms. There is a lovely infinity pool, gym, tennis courts, and a spa. The hotel also recently opened a second restaurant called Club Navel which is right on the water and has excellent seafood. Don’t pass on the lobster!
