About This Accommodation

Karen Blixen Camp in the Mara North Conservancy is set on a gorgeous site along the Mara River bordering the Masai Mara, an excellent area for spotting resident game and for migration viewing. Set on the east bank of the river, this camp has large and pleasant public areas and a small pool. Accommodation is in 22 large canvas tents built on wooden structures and using thatch and natural materials to blend in with nature. The décor is elegant and comfortably appealing.

Although this is a good property with a well-deserved reputation for sustainability and responsible tourism in an excellent area, we prefer to use the nearby Elephant Pepper Camp or Kicheche Camps for a similar budget more regularly because they provide a more intimate experience.
