About This Accommodation
Selinda Camp is a luxury tented camp set in the Selinda Reserve of Northern Botswana. Selinda Camp is owned by Great Plains Conservation, renowed for its combination of luxury and responsible tourism.
The eight individually decorated suites have large verandahs for relaxing in privacy, and spacious elegant bathrooms. The thatched main areas are built on raised wooden decks overlooking the Selinda Spillway and feature compelling art pieces from the owner’s family member and world-renown artist, Keith Joubert. Guests can make use of the pool, art gallery, wine cellar and library.
This land camp is in a great area for game viewing and Great Plains is know for its guiding. During the dry season you can view large elephant herds and wild dog, in addition to a number of resident predators and prey.
Selinda Camp is perfect for guests who want to feel a little more protected and enclosed than at Selinda Explorer or do not want to pay the higher price tag of Zarafa. In our opinion, the tradeoff is a slight loss of intimacy, but overall this is a beautiful camp, with excellent guiding and a strong committment to conservation.
