Yoga Safari in Tanzania

As part of its commitment to providing unique and extraordinary safari experiences Extraordinary Journeys, with Asilia Africa, are announcing a series of yoga safaris at the award winning Sayari Camp in the remote Northern Serengeti.

Begin each morning with a sunrise game drive through the Serengeti plains. Serengeti
National Park (3,646,500 acres) is the jewel in the crown of Tanzania’s protected areas. To the Maasai, it is Siringitu – “the land that stretches on forever” and over three million large mammals roam its grasslands including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, large herds of antelope and many others. After your drive return to a healthy breakfast of local fruits and fresh juices followed by the day’s first yoga practice.  A second early afternoon game drive or bush walk with the Sayari guides will followed by the day’s second yoga practice at sunset.

Be inspired by the endless views of the Serengeti savannah as you are lead in your daily practice by renowned yoga instructor, Shannon Paige, known for her inspired and motivating delivery. Shannon’s yoga practices are aimed at creating deep spaces of calm and connection with the land through holistic practices dynamically aligned vinyasa yoga and thoughtful Anjali Restorative Yoga. Practices are perfect for all level of practitioner and the inspirational African wilderness is the ideal setting.
