Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi (Daphne Sheldrick)

My friend Martha sent me the following link about the elephant orphanage in Nairobi

This was probably the highlight of my birthday in October 2011. I had asked that everyone adopt a baby elephant and we all went to visit them one after-noon. Here are some of the photos and videos of all my friends there

If you are interested in visiting the orphanage there are two visits a day. One for the public from 11 am to 12 pm and one at 5 pm for all those who have adopted an elephant. We highly recommend the visit in the after-noon as you really get to interact with the elephants.
